How it works

  1. Call to book

Call (561) 555-0188 with the reason for your visit and your insurance plan.

  2. Check for a referral

If your HMO plan needs one, ask your primary care doctor to send it.

  3. Come ready

Bring your insurance card, photo ID and medicine list. Skip nail polish and makeup.

  4. Meet your provider

Dr. Westbrook or Dev Raghunathan, PA-C, examines your skin and explains what comes next.

Insurance

  • Medicare
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • Florida Blue
  • UnitedHealthcare

Insurance often covers a skin check when you have a spot of concern or a history of skin cancer. Some plans, including Original Medicare, do not cover a routine screening check when you have no symptoms.

Visits for rashes, acne, biopsies and skin surgery are medical and usually covered. Cosmetic treatment is self-pay. Some HMO plans need a referral first. Call us with your plan and we will check before you come in.

Payment and financing

We accept HSA and FSA cards, Visa, Mastercard and American Express, CareCredit.

New patient questions

What does a visit cost without insurance?

Call the office and we will tell you the self-pay price for the visit you need before you book.

How soon can I be seen?

Call us. If a spot is changing, bleeding or growing, say so, and we will look for the earliest time.

Can I book a medical visit and a cosmetic consult on the same day?

Yes, on a Wednesday. They are two separate visits, and insurance covers only the medical one.
